Ahhhh...the lawn got mowed...

I posted my grandson's picture on Facebook with a love note. Sure was happy to get the back yard cut.

While he was weed eating, I pushed the mower a bit but it was mighty tough going because the grass was so thick and high.  Now I can take my time (using my sit down stool) to do cosmetic work and weeding here and there.  Tomorrow I may start clipping weeds around the tulips.  Am thinking I might leave the bird feeding area down in the corner natural.

Tomorrow I'm going to go back to the optometrist office. My new glasses continue to feel uncomfortable.  I'm suspecting the frames I chose are a little too large for my face.  Am guessing I won't be allowed to exchange but I did find another old pair in the garage that I may start using again.  They're red (my Sally Jessie Raphael glasses) and even though the kids don't like them, I do. I think I look stunning in them.  Ha ha  Could have saved myself a lot of money if I had just gone with them in the first place.  I don't deserve to be rich. I don't make good choices a lot of the time.

Well, nothing much on TV again. I'm taping Dancing with the Stars so I can watch it tomorrow without ads and without having to listen to the judge's stupid show-off comments.  I've been watching the second season of The Sopranos and they keep me entertained always.

Tomorrow is Ruthie's 69th birthday.  I found three pictures showing her in various activities---dining with friends at the casino, tending to the laundry, and panning for gold.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUTH BABY!
